Elina will start the new season at a tournament in New Zealand
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina returned to the training process.
Elina took a break from performing after being eliminated from the US Open 2023 in the third round. It was reported that Svitolina had problems with her foot, which is why she performed at the event with an untreated injury.
Previously, the Ukrainian announced her performance at the Australian Open 2024. Elina also intends to take part in the Olympics in Paris next year.
Svitolina will begin the new season at the WTA 250 ASB Classic in Auckland. The competition will take place from January 1 to January 7, 2024. This will be Elina’s first performance in New Zealand.
