Former Swiss tennis player Roger Federer could not contain his emotions during the concert of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in Zurich, reports Tennis.com.
Bocelli’s concert took place on Monday at the Hallenstadion stadium. At the end of the evening, the singer invited Federer, 42, on stage for his closing number, “Nessun Dorma.” During the performance of the song, the tennis player became emotional and could not hold back his tears.
In September 2022, Federer announced his retirement from sports. He has 20 Grand Slam titles, gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in doubles and silver at the 2012 London Games in singles.
