Athletistic/Tennis. German tennis player Alexander Zverev shared his words with Russian Daniil Medvedev after his defeat at the Monte Carlo Masters this spring.

“I regret a little the way I gave this interview. I was really talking about a specific victory in the match, and not about his style of play in general. A lot of things can be said about me, but I don’t take never a medical time out, I don’t go to the bathroom unnecessarily. I don’t do that because I don’t like it. I can’t stand it when other people do it.

But I had to go to him myself and say, “Hey, what is this? And I didn’t want to give an interview about it, but I was upset. At that moment I was angry,” Zverev said.

Zverev later called Medvedev “one of the most dishonest players on the tour.”
