Recall that Vesnina, 35, is the 2016 Olympic champion paired with Ekaterina Makarova, silver medalist of the 2020 Olympic Games in mixed doubles with Aslan Karatsev, winner of three TBSH in doubles and a tournament in mixed doubles.
Elena is a former world No. 1 in doubles, double winner of the Federation Cup (2007, 2008) with the Russian national team.
