Athletistic / Tennis. Serbian world number one Novak Djokovic has expressed his displeasure that his blood was drawn for doping before the Davis Cup match. The Serb’s blood was taken before his meeting with Briton Cameron Norrie.

Djokovic won with a score of 6:4, 6:4 and helped his team reach the semi-finals of the tournament.

“Now we have a man sitting in the corner who has been following me for an hour. I even managed to talk to him; in my 20 years of career, this has never happened to me.

I was informed an hour and a half before the match that I had to donate blood. And I have my own order of actions, I cannot be distracted. It’s completely illogical.

Djokovic accused British fans of disrespect over their behavior at the Davis Cup

I have always supported drug testing, but not before a game. For what? Why not take tests after the match? I was told it would be late and that would give the second team more time to rest. But I said we wouldn’t play tomorrow. They don’t understand the sport, they don’t understand why they are needed here,” Djokovic quotes Eurosport.
