Italy was represented by Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Sonego, and Serbia by Novak Djokovic and Miomir Kecmanovic. The Italians won with a score of 6:3, 6:4 in 1 hour 35 minutes.

Eight aces and three out of five break points were converted by Italy, while the Serbian duo served twice and converted just one break point out of six. Both pairs committed two double faults.

Interestingly, world number one Djokovic lost to Sinner in singles and Kecmanovic beat Musetti. The Italian team will now qualify for the final match against Australia.
