Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Volodko beat the Romanian in two sets Alexandru Ignatic in the second round match of the ITF series tournament in Slovakia Trnave.
Katerina spent only 22 minutes on the first game and did not give up a single game to her opponent.
In the second set, Ignatik provided more significant resistance. Volodko missed a match point with the score 5:2, but corrected herself in the next game.
Let us remind you that in the first round of the tournament, Katerina easily beat compatriot Daria Snigur, seeded number one in Trnava.
In the quarter finals, Katerina will meet the winner of the match Sarah Beth Gray (Great Britain) – Mona Barthel (Germany).
