This is the first tournament for the Ukrainian opponent since January 2022
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya completed her performance in the singles tournament WTA 125 V Andorra.
In the 1/8 finals match, Yastremskaya, who received the 4th seed, lost to Anastasia Sevastova. This is the first tournament for the Latvian representative since January 2022. Last December she gave birth to a daughter, and only now has she returned to official performances.
Dayana won the first set in a tiebreaker, but in the second game she was unable to force a fight on her opponent (1:6). In the decisive set, the Ukrainian gave up one game on her serve and lost 4:6.
Earlier, Yastremskaya said that at the tournament in Andorra she plans to gain enough ranking points to get into the main draw of the Australian Open 2024. If necessary, the Ukrainian is ready to play at the tournament in Angers.
