Winner of the Grand Slam tournament in France Anastasia Myskina acting as captain of one of the teams of the Northern Palmyra Trophies tournament, thanked the organizers of the competition in St. Petersburg and also shared his expectations for the matches.
The Northern Palmyra Trophies tournament will take place from December 1 to 3 on the courts of the Arena sports and concert complex in St. Petersburg. Athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, Spain, Serbia, France, Italy and Bulgaria will take part in the team tournament.

— Team captains have the right to enter the field at any time and replace any player on their team. Did you and Davydenko ever understand when you would do this?
“I absolutely trust our girls and I am a “weak link” compared to them. But Kolya Davydenko may not be poor (laughs). But generally speaking, there is no clear plan yet. Our spontaneity is our everything (laughs),” said Myskina, quoted by the correspondent.
