Russian women Anastasia Potapova And Vera Zvonareva won Veronica Kudermetova (Russia) and Yulia Puntseva of Kazakhstan at the “Northern Palmyra Trophies” tournament in Saint Petersburg.
The match lasted a little over an hour and ended with a score of 6:4, 6:2 in favor of Potapova and Zvonareva.
After eight matches in the confrontation between the teams “Lions” and “Sphinx”, the score became 4:4.
The Northern Palmyra Trophies tournament will take place from December 1 to 3 on the courts of the Arena sports and concert complex in Saint Petersburg. Athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, Spain, Serbia, France and Bulgaria take part in the team tournament.
