Serbian tennis player’s racket Novak Djokovic which he played in the last match of Roland-Garros 2016, sold for $107,500, according to the auction site SCP Auctions.
In the decisive match of the Grand Slam tournament, the Serbian defeated the British Andy Murray with a score of 3:6, 6:1, 6:2, 6:4 and became the winner of Roland Garros for the first time. He went on to win the title twice – in 2021 and 2023.
Djokovic is the world’s number one racket, record holder for the number of weeks spent at the top of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings and the number of Grand Slam singles tournaments won (24).
