Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov commented on her tennis match with Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov.
On Wednesday, Kostomarov posted a video of himself playing tennis with world No. 15 Khachanov. Kostomarov suffered multiple amputations after being hospitalized in January and was discharged in July.
– This is what an athlete with a capital A means! Courage, character and will! “I never cease to admire,” Khachanov wrote on social networks.
Kostomarov, partnered with Tatyana Navka, won gold at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, and also won the World Championships twice and the European Championships three times.
