Athletistic/Tennis. 2009 ATP Finals champion Nikolay Davydenko expressed his opinion on the emotional breakdowns of Andrei Rublev, Russia’s second racket. He noted that at the end of the year, during the last tournament, players strive to score the maximum number of points, which is extremely important for the overall ranking. Davydenko emphasized that each match of the final tournament brings 200 points and also affects the additional ranking, which will be taken into account until the end of the season.

Davydenko believes that Rublev also sought to show a good result, and in such situations emotions can sometimes take over, leading to a loss of control. Davydenko also pointed out that he doesn’t know Rublev very well, as he hasn’t worked with him as closely as he has with other Russian tennis players like Karen Khachanov and Daniil Medvedev. He noted that each of them has their own unique emotional nature and that Rublev is perhaps a little more closed off than the others.
