Athletistic / Tennis. Serbian tennis world number one Novak Djokovic said young players motivate him to continue his career.
“I don’t know how good it will look now, but young tennis players hungry for victories, full of inspiration and eager to show their best tennis in matches with me – that’s my extra motivation. These are them who awaken the beast in me,” Djokovic reportedly told CBS News.
Novak Djokovic has won the Grand Slam tournament a record 24 times. The Serbian became the first player to hold the world number one title for more than 400 weeks. The previous record holder was the Swiss Roger Federer (310 weeks).
Last season, Novak won three Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open, Roland Garros and US Open), reached the final of the fourth (Wimbledon) and also won the WTA final tournament trophy in Turin (Italy).
