Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva was beaten by French tennis player Yanis Ghazouani Durand in the final of the exhibition tournament in Bourg-de-Page (France).
The match ended with a score of 7:5, 6:2 in favor of the Frenchman, ranked 845th in the ATP rankings.
On Sunday, Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk refused to play against Andreeva. Tournament organizers said Kostyuk’s decision was motivated by the “geopolitical situation.”
At the end of the season, the WTA recognized 16-year-old Andreeva as the best newcomer of the year.
