Rublev lost to Runa in the semi-finals of an exhibition tournament in London

Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev was defeated by the Dane Holger Rune in the semi-final of the exhibition tournament in London.

The match ended with the score 20:10, 12:11, 16:11 in favor of Rune. In the final, Briton Jack Draper beat the eighth racket in the world with a score of 12:14, 15:12, 13:10, 19:7.

Tournament matches are played according to special rules. In particular, the match consists of four quarters of 8 minutes, each winning exchange is worth one point, the game proceeds up to three victories in the quarters, and the tennis players also have special “cards” with which they can influence the game.

Rublev is fifth in the world rankings.

The competition in London was the final stop in the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) exhibition tournament series.
