Athletistic/Tennis. Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya (102nd racket in the world) responded to criticism over a video in which she walks through the streets of Monaco to the sound of a song in Russian.

“There has been a lot of hate lately because of this video. Russian song, Russian signature. Firstly, it’s my track, written in 2020. Secondly, I’m not wandering around there, but on my day off work, I came to Monaco for the first time in a year and a half.

My foundation has helped many Ukrainian citizens. Is anyone talking about it? Or can they just judge me? I will always remain Ukrainian, I will always be from Odessa,” Yastremskaya is quoted in Ukrainian media.

Dayana Yastremskaya made her debut on the women’s tour in 2016. During her professional career, the 23-year-old Ukrainian won three WTA tournaments.
