Athletistic/Tennis. Former world second racket, Spaniard Alex Corretja shared his opinion on the world tennis leader, Serbian Novak Djokovic.
“I think it will be a bit surprising if Djokovic wins the Golden Slam in the 2024 season. Because even though he improves his game a lot, he is still getting older. It’s normal for him to get older and recovery is not not the same…
Personally, I am convinced that he will continue to win Grand Slam tournaments, but each time it will become more and more difficult for him. He knows it himself,” quotes Tennis Infinty Corretja.
Novak Djokovic has won Grand Slam tournaments 24 times (record). The Serbian became the first player to hold the world number one title for more than 400 weeks. The previous record holder was the Swiss Roger Federer (310 weeks).
Last season, Novak won three Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open, Roland Garros and US Open), reached the final of the fourth (Wimbledon) and also won the WTA final tournament trophy in Turin (Italy).
