A former famous Ukrainian tennis player called for more weapons to be provided to our country to protect itself from Russia.
Former Ukrainian tennis player Alexander Dolgopolov, who returned to Ukraine after the start of a mass attack and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about the situation at the front.
The athlete spoke about the difficult situation on the front line and called on Western partners to provide more weapons to defeat the aggressor.
“We need weapons and equipment to win this war. Right now, from a mathematical point of view, we are not in a good position.”
On the battlefield, Russia has the advantage in most things – more people, more weapons and artillery.
Is the world doing enough? apparently not. I think this is obvious. We can’t get enough, not fast enough, not enough. This is a great war, we need more.
I think the West needs to wake up and understand that this is not just a problem for Ukraine. We must act,” Dolgopolov was quoted as saying by Y! Sports.
We remind you that earlier the Ukrainian tennis player refused to play with the Russian in a tournament in France.
