It is considered one of the most dangerous snakes in the world, just behind West Taipan, because its venom contains powerful neurotoxins that affect neurons and cause blood clotting, and other toxins that affect the heart and kidneys.
In order for the match to continue, one of the tournament workers had to come in with a trash can and a snake catcher to remove it from the venue, but both ended up near the fences where the spectators were.
