The strongest Ukrainian tennis player lost to the Swiss Husler
Ukrainian tennis player Vitaly Sachko was defeated in the first round of the tournament’s main draw ATP 250 V Hong Kong (China).
For the first racket of Ukraine, the barrier in the face of the Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler became insurmountable. The fight lasted almost an hour and a half.
Vitaly started the match well, but with the score 1:0, he missed a double break point, and then lost his serve in the seventh game, which determined the fate of the set. A similar situation arose in the second game. The result is twice 4:6.
Let us remind you that Sachko previously successfully completed the qualification, where he managed to cope with the Hungarian Zsombard Pirosh and the Frenchman Terence Atman.
In the future, Vitaly will have to qualify for the first major of the year – Australian Open 2024, where he is entered together with Ilya Marchenko.
