In the second round of the tough WTA-500 tournament in Brisbane (Australia), the second racket in the world, Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, defeated Italian Lucia Bronzetti, 52nd in the WTA rankings. The match ended with a score of 6:3, 6:0 in favor of the Belarusian athlete.

The duration of the fight was 58 minutes. Sabalenka completed eight serves in this match, committed a double fault and successfully used four out of five break points created. Bronzetti had three aces, three double faults and not a single converted break point.

In the next round of the competition, Sabalenka will meet the winner of the match between Danielle Collins (USA) and Zhu Lin (China). The Brisbane tournament will end on January 7.
