The world’s first racket Novak Djokovic complained of wrist pain during a United Cup tag team tournament match with Australian Alex De Minaur.
The meeting took place in Perth, Australia and ended with the victory of De Minaur with a score of 6:4, 6:4. Djokovic suffered his first defeat on Australian courts since 2018.
According to the We Are Tennis portal, during the match the Serb turned to a physiotherapist and said: “The more I play, the more it hurts.”
The United Cup takes place on the courts of Australia and will end on January 7. The Russian team is not participating in the tournament.
