In the quarterfinals, the representative of Belarus defeated the 12th racket in the world, Latvian Elena Ostapenko, with a score of 6:3, 3:6, 7:5. The duration of the match was 2 hours 30 minutes. Azarenka served 14 aces, committed two double faults and converted four out of eight break points. Ostapenko has two aces, two double faults and three successful breaks out of ten.

In the next round, Azarenka will meet the winner of the match between Belarusian Arina Sabalenka and Russian Daria Kasatkina.
