This victory will put her ahead of the 2023 US Open champion, 19-year-old American Cori Gauff, by 151 points.
In the final of the Brisbane tournament, Rybakina won with a score of 6:0 and 6:3 against the winner of the Australian Open 2023, Belarusian tennis player Arina Sabalenka, who is in second place in the WTA ranking.
For Rybakina, third place in the WTA rankings is the best achievement of her career. She has six titles at the WTA level, including a victory at Wimbledon.
