Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva gained 11 places and now occupies 47th position in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Last week, 16-year-old Andreeva reached the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Brisbane (Australia), where she lost to Czech Linda Noskova with a score of 5:7, 3:6.
The leader of the ranking remains the representative of Poland Iga Swiętek second place Arina Sabalenko (Belarus), closes the leading trio Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.
The best Russian woman is Lyudmila Samsonova (14th place), Daria Kasatkina rose from 18th to 15th place.
