Yastremskaya, Zavatskaya, Starodubtseva and Snigur advanced to the second round of qualifying for the Australian Open.
All four Ukrainian tennis players competing this year in qualifying for the Australian Open successfully passed the first round barrier.
Dayana Yastremska had the hardest time on Wednesday. In the first round of selection, the first seeded Ukrainian defeated Lea Boskovic from Croatia in three sets. The match lasted 2 hours 8 minutes.
Daria Snigur and Katarina Zavatskaya defeated their opponents in two sets. The first easily dealt with the Austrian Sinya Kraus, and the second easily defeated Armoni Tan from France.
Yulia Starodubtseva also easily finished the first round, defeating Martina Capurro Taborda from Argentina.
