Athletistic / Tennis. 26-year-old Latvian tennis player Jelena Ostapenko will climb into the top 10 of the WTA world rankings. The 2017 Roland Garros champion will appear in the top ten for the first time since March 2018.

Ostapenko is currently ranked 12th in the world rankings. But she will improve her own position after a successful performance at the WTA-500 tournament in Adelaide (Australia). There Ostapenko reached the quarterfinals. She will compete for a ticket to the semi-finals with Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk.

If Ostapenko manages to progress further, she will be able to further improve her position in the rankings. She is now 10th in the live rankings.
