Athletistic/Tennis. The world’s first racket, Serbian Novak Djokovic, spoke to Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev before the start of the 2024 Australian Open.

After meeting in the grandstand hall of one of the tournament arenas, the tennis players shared a short dialogue, published by the press service of the Australian Open.

– Good job, man. Can you stop winning already? – Djokovic told Rublev.

– RIGHT. “I’m just trying to take advantage of a little of your talent,” the Russian replied with a smile.

Rublev will play Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild in the first round of the Australian Open. Djokovic will begin his tournament journey with a match against one of the qualifier winners.

The Australian Open main stage begins on January 14. Rublev already won the 2024 tournament in Hong Kong, which was his 15th victory in ATP singles tournaments.

  • Rublev has reached at least one ATP final for eight consecutive years.
