Medvedev received the third seed in the tournament and was placed in the bottom half of the draw. If he successfully advances to the next round, the Russian will play with the winner of the duo Emil Ruusuvuori (Finland) – Patrick Kipson (USA).
The 2024 Australian Open begins on Sunday and will be played over 15 days, from January 14 to 28.
