Serbian world number one Novak Djokovic assessed the form in which he approached the start of the Australian Open.
The main draw matches of the Australian Open will take place from January 14 to 28.
—Who do you consider your biggest threat in this tournament?
— I always come first, and then, of course, all the other best players in the world. I am sure that every player intends to realize his dream of winning a Grand Slam tournament. Obviously, some players are expected to do more than others.
– How is your wrist?
– I’m doing well. I had time to recover. I trained well.
So far the training has been pain free. It’s good. Everything looks good. Let’s see how things go further,” Djokovic said at a press conference.
Djokovic is the reigning Australian Open winner and the record holder for the most Grand Slam titles won – 24.
