Former world number one, Russian Maria Sharapova purchased real estate in the United States worth $11.5 million, reports Robb Report.
According to the publication, Sharapova’s estate is located in Montecito (California). According to the documents, the sale was made by bank transfer. It should be noted that the house was built in 1949.
The estate is located next to an even larger compound owned by American singer Katy Perry and British actor Orlando Bloom.
Sharapova has won five Grand Slam tournaments and has won 36 WTA tournaments throughout her career.
