The Ukrainian won in three sets over Lucia Bronzetti from Italy
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko commented on the victory over the Italian Lucia Bronzetti in the first round Australain Open-2024.
“Today just didn’t work. There weren’t even any reasons or nerves. Nothing bothered me, the game just wasn’t going well. I tried to be patient and hope that it would work. In the end, one might say, things worked out more or less.”
“Here in Melbourne, I generally have legendary nets, it seems to me. Playing with the world number one for two years in a row was somehow “cool”. The Ukrainian lost the first set in the match with Bronzetti, but managed to win the next two. Lesya won the decisive point at the reception.
