Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina moved from 15th to 13th position in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, according to the latest version published on the organization’s website.

Her rise in the rankings is due to her participation in the final of the tournament in Adelaide, where she lost to Latvian tennis player Jelena Ostapenko, who is now in the top 10. Kasatkina is ahead of Lyudmila Samsonova, ranked 14th and now first racket in Russia.

Another Russian tennis player, Veronika Kudermetova, is ranked 17th, while Ekaterina Alexandrova has moved up to 20th position. The leader of the ranking is Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek.
