The match between the Ukrainian and former absolute world champion will take place in Australia.
Former three-division champion Vasiliy Lomachenko will step into the ring with former undisputed lightweight champion George Kambosos.
The Ukrainian boxer published a post on Instagram where he spoke about the fight with the Australian. Vasily added a poster for the match, showing the date as May 12th. The match will take place in the homeland of Kambosos – Australia. The vacant IBF title is on the line.
“To God. Peace to all,” Lomachenko wrote.
Earlier, Alexander Usik faced Tyson Fury before the fight in Saudi Arabia.
