Ukrainian tennis player Denis Molchanov successfully started in doubles at Australian Open 2024.
In a duet with a Serb Nikola Cacic The 36-year-old Ukrainian won a difficult victory over the Ben McLachlan / Yoshihito Nishioka tandem representing Japan.
The first round match lasted two hours and 19 minutes. The first set went to the Japanese – 6:3. Denis and Nikola managed to respond symmetrically, making a decisive break in the 8th game of the second set.
