“Nadal is a hard worker. But Djokovic is amazing mentally. It’s amazing what he can go through. We have to do something to get him to play in the US Open. Djokovic has to play there. Please, do something for this amazing champion played there!” McEnroe said.
Novak Djokovic will miss the US Open if the US entry rules for unvaccinated citizens change. The Serb is an opponent of the coronavirus vaccination, due to which he left the Australian Open with a scandal in January 2022.
The US Open will take place from August 29 to September 11.
