Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva rose from 47th to 35th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, according to the WTA website.
At the Australian Open, Andreeva reached the 4th round, where she lost to the representative of the Czech Republic Barbora Krejcikova.
Another Russian woman Anna Kalinskaya who reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open, moved from 75th to 38th place.
Iga Szwiatek (Poland) remains at the top of the rankings, Australian Open winner Arina Sabalenka (Belarus) is in second place and American Cori Gauff climbed to third place.
