The Serbian Novak Djokovic remains the first racket in the world. In 2024, he failed to defend his championship title in Melbourne and his advantage over Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz was therefore significantly reduced. Russian Daniil Medvedev remained the third racket in the world after reaching the AO-2024 final. His opponent in the decisive match of the tournament, the Italian Jannik Sinner, moved closer to him in the fight for third place in the ranking and is now 455 points behind the Russian.

Another representative of Russia, Andrei Rublev, retained fifth place in the ranking. Karen Khachanov lost three places and now finds herself in 18th place.
