Among the participants of the competition was a representative of Russia, number 36 in the ATP ranking, Roman Safioullin. Besides him, the German Olympic champion Alexander Zverev, the Danish Holger Rune (world number 7), the American Taylor Fritz (world number 9) and the Greek world number 10 Stefanos Tsitsipas will also participate in the Acapulco tournament.
The current winner of the Acapulco tournament is Alex de Minaur. In the final of the tournament last year, the Australian beat Tommy Paul. In 2024, de Minaur also participated in the Acapulco tournament.
