The 2024 Australian Open set an attendance record in tournament history

The last Australian Open set an attendance record in the entire history of the tournament, reports the press service of the Australian Open.

This year, a total of 1,020,763 spectators attended the main draw matches.

The previous result was observed last year: the attendance figure was then recorded at 839,192 people.

Belarusian Arina Sabalenka defended her women’s singles title at the Australian Open, while Italy’s Jannik Sinner won his first Grand Slam men’s singles title.
