Orlov lost to Fritz in the fourth match of the Ukraine-USA confrontation in the Davis Cup playoffs

The Americans won ahead of schedule and advanced to the final part of the tournament.

Ukrainian tennis player Vladislav Orlov lost in the fourth match of the qualifying playoff match Davis Cup Ukraine – USA.

Orlov lost to the ninth racket of the world Taylor Fritz. In the first set, the American needed one break to win. In the second game, Fritz led by four points. Orlov managed to take one of the opponent’s serves, but failed to save the match.

The US team earlier won ahead of schedule in the match with Ukraine. On Thursday, Alexey Krutykh lost to Sebastian Korda in three sets, and Vyacheslav Belinsky lost to Christopher Eubanks. On Friday, the duo of Alexey Krutykh and Ilya Beloborodko lost to the pair of Austin Kraichek/Rajiv Ram.

The Ukrainian team failed to make it to the finals of the Davis Cup. In September, the blue-yellows will again play in the playoffs for a place in qualification for next season.
