Ukraine’s best result in a week – Zavatskaya’s rise to three positions
Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) published an updated ranking of tennis players.
Among Ukrainian tennis players, we note the fall of Elina Svitolina to 20th position. Five Ukrainians remain in the top 40: in addition to Svitolina, these are Dayana Yastremskaya (No. 29), Marta Kostyuk (No. 30), Angelina Kalinina (No. 32) and Lesya Tsurenko (No. 37).
A week passed without changes in the rating for Daria Snigur and Yulia Starodubtseva. The only rise in the world ranking among Ukrainians is by Katarina Zavatskaya, who now occupies 172nd position.
