Athletistic/Tennis. 1995 Davis Cup finalist Andrei Chesnokov expressed his opinion regarding Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev’s decision to withdraw from the ATP-500 tournament in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Chesnokov noted that Medvedev overcame a very difficult path at the Australian Open and it is extremely difficult to recover from it. His decision was therefore correct. In addition, the fact that Medvedev reached the final of the Australian Open allowed him to collect a significant number of points, which allows him to skip several tournaments before the Masters in Indian Wells and Miami.

Recall that Medvedev is the current champion of the tournament in the Netherlands, but will not be able to defend his title this year.
