The Ukrainian failed to make it to the final qualifying round of the ATP 250 tournament
Ukrainian tennis player Ilya Marchenko finished playing at the tournament ATP 250 in American Delray Beach.
In the qualifying semi-finals, Marchenko lost to the first seed, Italian Flavio Cobolli. The meeting lasted one hour and 29 minutes.
Over the course of two sets, Ilya failed to take a single serve from his opponent, while allowing Cobolli to score three breaks. Flavio also made five aces during the match, Marchenko had “zero” in the reporting column.
Main draw games for the Delray Beach event begin on February 12th. The final of the event is scheduled for February 18.
Previously, Marchenko did not qualify for another tournament in the USA. In Dallas, the Ukrainian dropped out at the final qualifying stage, losing to the American Tennys Sandgren.
