Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova occupies a leading position on the women’s WTA circuit in terms of the number of appearances at WTA-1000 tournaments.

The WTA-1000 category was introduced to women’s tennis in 2009 and since then Pavlyuchenkova has competed in 105 major WTA events.

The list of leaders by number of appearances at WTA-1000 tournaments is as follows:

1. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (Russia) – 105 times;
2. Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic) – 103 times;
3. Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark) – 93 times;
4. Victoria Azarenka (Belarus) – 89 times;
5. Angelique Kerber (Germany) – 88 times.

It should be noted that at the moment Pavlyuchenkova does not yet have titles at the WTA-1000 level. She has 12 victories at the WTA level.
