Athletistic/Tennis. President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev announced that world number one Novak Djokovic will not be able to participate in the friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Serbia.

The match between the national teams of Russia and Serbia is scheduled for March 21 and is expected to take place at the VTB Arena in Moscow.

According to Tarpishchev, Djokovic is busy as he will participate in two tournaments in the United States.

“Djokovic is playing two tournaments in a row in the United States and he simply won’t find time to attend a football match,” Tarpischev said.

In March, two Masters Series tournaments will take place in the United States: in Indian Wells (March 6 to 17) and Miami (March 20 to 31).
