The duration of the meeting was 1 hour 52 minutes. Following the match, Andreeva’s tally included one successful serve, eight double faults and three converted break points out of a possible nine. Stearns completed three aces, made five errors on his serve and also converted four breaks on 13 break points.
In the second round of the Dubai tournament, Python Stearns will face the Czech Marketa Vondrousova. The competition prize fund in 2024 is $3.2 million.
