Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova rose from 32nd to 24th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
This is the highest position held by Pavlyuchenkova, 32, since May 2022. Last week, the Russian reached the semi-finals of the tournament in Doha, where she lost to Kazakh Elena Rybakina.
Ekaterina Alexandrova rose to 17th place, Diana Schneider to 73rd, Erika Andreeva entered the top 100 for the first time in her career, becoming the 99th racket in the world.
