Athletistic / Tennis. The press service of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated version of the ranking of the strongest singles tennis players on the planet. There was only one change in the top 10.
Elena Ostapenko of Latvia returned to the top ten tennis players on tour. She moved from 11th to 9th position. The top three remained unchanged: the first racket in the world is the Polish Iga Swiatek, the second is the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, and the American Cori Gauff occupies the third place.
The strongest female tennis player in Russia is Daria Kasatkina, who ranks 13th in the world rankings. Tokyo 2020 Olympic mixed doubles champion Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova moved from 32nd to 24th position. Mirra Andreeva, 16, after being eliminated from the WTA-1000 tournament in Dubai (UAE), lost five positions and now ranks 38th.
